Cave Story+ is an engaging and absorbing platform game created by the famous Japanese game developer Daisuke Amaya, also known as Pixel.

Cave Story+ helps you discover an interesting world where a new breed of innocent rabbit-like creatures, named Mimigas, freely roam the land. As your character, a young amnesiac boy, wakes up in a dark cave in the middle of this Sci-Fi world, you learn that the boy has no memory of who he is, where is he from and how he ended up in this place.

You will be able to explore and discover the Mimiga Village along with the threat that puts the Mimigas in danger. It is now your quest to stop the maniacal scientist from extinguishing the innocent creatures from this world.

Throughout the game you will have to jump, run, shoot, explode and fly over obstacles, enemies and incoming projectiles. The game’s HUD helps you keep track of the current level, your character’s life status and view the currently used weapon. You can monitor the time spent finding a way out by keeping an eye on the timer located in the top right corner.

You can switch between the collected weapons and use them to defeat your enemies and collect experience points. What is more, you can interact with the environment and improve your weapons up to level three. You have to avoid getting hit since any inflicted damage causes weapons to lose experience and levels.
