Cobra Sec

Cobra Sec is a lightweight software solution which allows you to encrypt text files, in order to protect sensitive data from prying eyes. The application uses a powerful encoding algorithm which results in creating specific file formats that store the initial information.

Cobra Sec is a simple to use program and can help you keep sensitive information secret and safe. The software allows you to encode text files, by copying the data contained within into a storage document. The result is saved in a special format that is not supported by any other application.

The encrypted file is saved with the .COBRA_SEC extension and cannot be opened. However, Cobra Sec can manage the file, by extracting the information within. The software can only work with this particular format, which it creates and .TXT, which means that if your data is stored in a different file type, you need to convert it to a plain text file.

Cobra Sec features two functions, namely Encryption and Decryption, which you can access from the Menu button at the top of the window. The process is simple and requires only that you load the supported file, with each step. The text you wish to encrypt needs to be saved to a .TXT file, in order to be processed.

In case of decryption, Cobra Sec only supports decoding the files it previously encrypted. This application is the only method of restoring .COBRA_SEC files to their original state.

Cobra Sec allows you to encode any .TXT file, so no other user can open or read it. The application is lightweight and does not require installation, which means that you can carry it around on a removable memory device and decode your files wherever you are. The encrypted file does not replace the original one, but you may easily delete or move the un-encoded file.
