Windows comes with its own default configuration, installed applications and packages but, if you are like me, you might look for ways to customize your experience and get more control over shared data and the way you interact with the operating system.

And it is not only about changing the theme, the background and the colors, but also about telemetry and advertising, installed packages, and so on.   Having that in mind, the developer of CoMachina created an open-source application whose purpose is to enhance the entire experience with Windows and tailor it to the user’s preferences and needs.

CoMachina requires no installation and presents itself as Ava, your friendly companion ready to help you navigate through the Windows options much easier and transform the OS to match your requirements.

While the assistant might make you think about AI, note that currently, AI integration is not available. However, CoMachina is, indeed, a WebView2 application and allows one-click access to Microsoft Copilot.

Now, let’s dive deeper into the application’s feature set. CoMachina is meant to assist you in navigating through the Windows’ settings and carrying out maintenance and monitoring tasks.

For instance, you can manage your accounts and restore backup, create a PIN for logging in to Windows or check for OS updates. Cleaning up the system storage, checking the available disk space, viewing startup apps or uninstalling an application are other commands that you can give Ava, your local companion in CoMachina.

Windows 11 comes with integrated ads and telemetry features, some of which you can disable with a single click in CoMachina. Moreover, you can use it to get rid of bloatware by quickly removing packages and apps that were installed by default with Windows. On the other hand, a few popular applications that are widely used and popular can be quickly installed in batch.

CoMachina centralizes Windows settings and helps you carry out system maintenance and customize Windows to your liking. The application is currently in the early stages of development and its feature set is not to extended, compared to other similar tweaking tools, but the developer’s agenda is promising, as it plans to integrate Microsoft Copilot and offer much more control ove rthe Windows settings.
