Note: The application is Free for NTC's Chip platform and can be downloaded from here.

Computer Geek's Calculator is an interesting and lightweight piece of software that allows you to perform a wide array of calculations related to programming and networking alike.

To be more precise, it's capable of performing complex mathematical calculations like percentages, averages, share expenses, and even typical floating point, and it comes with support for Hex, Octal, Binary, and even Decimal systems.

Another highlight worth mentioning is the IPv4 mode which should come in handy to most network administrators who require fast network address calculations. To use it, please note that you must enter numbers in the usual dotted octet format (dotted-quad).

There are other useful features, as well. For instance, as we're sure you'll notice straight off, it has 16 so-called registers and a virtual "tape" (records your calculations) which both allow you to store and effortlessly recall numbers and expressions in any of the supported format.

While all not that modern, the application's graphical user interface is quite well-thought-out, with a basic yet intuitive layout. Be that as it may, you may find some of its functions a bit confusing, especially if you haven't worked with similar tools before.

That said, we're happy to report that the app bundles very handy documentation which should offer valuable assistance in getting to know its functions, with helpful sections such as Layout and Operation, Keyboard Use, IPv4 Network Usage, Operator References, and Capabilities.

Taking everything into account, Computer Geek's Calculator is a useful app that stays true to its name as it offers you various useful tools for performing basic math, programming, and even networking related calculations.

It's easy to install, effortless to get along with once you mastered its functions, very lightweight, and it comes equipped with a well-put-together documentation section.
