Windows affords users numerous options when it comes to customizing their experience. From functionality and workflow-based changes to ones that are purely visual, users should be able to dictate how they want their system to work in more ways than one.

Perhaps we're all familiar with themes by now, and though the word most likely gets one to think of taskbar and desktop design changes, what of your cursor? Through Cursor Commander, users can change the appearance of their Windows cursor with little effort: cycle through the themes you have available, or grab something from the internet, and you should be able to apply your favorite designs in no time.

If you're even somewhat familiar with how changing cursor themes is on Windows, then it's likely that you know you cannot do that with just a few clicks. Ironically enough, given Windows' numerous menus, users will have to first navigate through their Control Panel and select the Mouse menu in order to get to the Pointers section. Needless to say, this can be a bit miffing to users who find themselves often changing their cursor theme.

With this simple utility, users can do all of that much quicker. The software will immediately preview their cursor theme, as well as display any other installed themes they might have on their machine.

As stated prior, the tool also shows users what other cursor themes they may have on their system. This includes previewing the cursor's look with a given theme.

Once you have a theme you wish to install, all it takes to do so is clicking the Use these cursors button. The theme will then be applied, and you're free to switch back whenever you wish.

Cursor Commander is a simple piece of software. For users who aren't bothered with the extra steps one has to go through to change their cursor's design, there's little incentive to use such a solution.
