The Cyberpunk 2077 AMD Ryzen CPU Patch Tool is here to save the day! If you've been trying to run Cyberpunk 2077 on a computer with an AMD Ryzen CPU, you might have noticed some hiccups. The game wasn’t really optimized for those machines, unlike those with Intel CPUs that run just fine. But don’t worry, there’s a fix!
This handy tool allows you to apply a hot fix so your game can run smoothly on AMD CPUs. Just make sure you grab the right version! There are two editions available: one for version 1.05 of Cyberpunk and another for version 1.04 and below. Picking the wrong one means the patch won’t work.
The interface is super simple—no complicated menus here! It features a confirmation form along with two buttons: one to apply the patch and another to undo any changes if needed. The developers designed it this way so anyone can use it without any fuss.
Before diving in, remember to close the game first! You’ll need to place the executable file of the patch tool in the same folder as your game executable. It’s also a smart idea to back up your game executable just in case things go sideways.
So what happens when you hit that apply button? The tool modifies the code of “Cyberpunk2077.exe” by replacing a HEX sequence. Basically, it makes adjustments so that SMT (Simultaneous Multi-Threading) works properly for CPUs with eight cores or more. And if you ever want to go back, restoring your original executable file is just a click away!
