The tool fetches new backgrounds from Bing and Windows Spotlight daily, while also providing a suite of additional options: a hash calculator, a duplicate files finder, a QR code scanner, a shutdown timer, and more.

The tool doesn't waste any time when it comes to sourcing you a new wallpaper: they're from Bing's Daily Wallpaper collection, but you can also set the software to update your background periodically using the stills from local storage. You can toggle an option to store the backgrounds fetched from Bing. The watermarks that come with the Bing images can be automatically removed by the app.

Owing to the added value of the Toolbox within its menus, DailyWallpaper is a surprisingly versatile app, going far beyond the scope its name would initially imply.
