So, let’s talk about Debloat-Android. This handy script is all about helping you remove bloatware from your Android devices using adb. Now, not all bloatware is terrible, but some can really slow down your device and even mess with your privacy. It's no wonder so many people are eager to ditch it!
This script was mainly made for a few specific devices like Samsung running Android 10 and 11, plus Sony TV on Android 09. But don't worry! If you have a different device, you can add support for it yourself through the configuration file.
If you want to include your own device in the mix, just create a new debloat file in the .\config folder. You’ll need to change the bloat_name value in the JSON configuration file to match your new file name. After that, you can list all the packages you want to get rid of from your Android.
Now let's talk functionality! For this script to work, your Android device needs to be connected to a Windows PC. If it’s not empty, adb will try connecting using the IP address you've set up. If that doesn’t work out, it will switch gears and try connecting via USB instead.
