Desk Marker is a cool tool that makes your presentations pop! Thanks to modern tech, we can interact with our computers in fun and different ways. This software lets you draw right on your desktop, which is perfect for making live presentations really engaging.
When you first launch Desk Marker, a configuration window opens up. Here, you can check out all the features, set up hotkeys, and customize your pen. You can change the size and color of your drawings. Plus, there’s an option to adjust transparency so you can still see background stuff while you draw.
You get a couple of modes to choose from: freehand or visual controls. Freehand mode is just what it sounds like—you draw however you like! The visual controls option highlights things on your desktop automatically, like windows or buttons that need some attention. Want to fill a whole area with color? There’s a flood fill option for that too!
This app supports hotkeys, which makes drawing even easier. You can set these up to switch between modes or start drawing. You have two choices for how to draw: keep holding down the hotkey commands or toggle it on and off. Keep in mind that you can only draw when the app is minimized in the tray area.
If you make a mistake, don’t worry! You can erase your drawings using hotkeys as well. But here’s a little downside: Desk Marker doesn’t have a built-in save option for your work. However, if you really want to keep something you've drawn, just use the print screen function as a workaround!
The bottom line? If you're looking to spice up live presentations with some interactive elements, Desk Marker is definitely worth checking out! Just be aware it might have some compatibility issues since it hasn’t been updated recently; other methods may be needed if you want to save your artwork permanently.
