DesktopHut Live Wallpapers

Just like wallpapers, live background images are a great way to improve the look and feel of your machine. Of course, you'll need to have a decent machine in order for this live wallpaper not to hinder your performance in whatever it is you are doing on your  PC. If you do decide to look into these animated backgrounds, you'll need an application to apply them accordingly, which is where DesktopHut comes into play.

The program isn't necessarily old or bad looking. It does not include many features. All one can do is select a live wallpaper, which is basically an MP4 video file that you'll most likely grab from the developer's website. You should be able to use other materials from external sources but compatibility is not guaranteed. Once applied, the live wallpaper should look like an animated background. The one's over on the developer's site are high quality and look good when applied to any desktop.

You'll be able to continue with the live wallpaper setup by playing with the various options on the left side of the application interface. There really isn't much to adjust. You can either play or stop the preview of your chosen wallpaper, select dual  monitors mode if you have such a setup, allow win compatibility settings to be applied, and include any sounds that are associated with your wallpaper while also adjusting its volume. That's pretty much it in terms of what you can tailor to your needs.

DesktopHut is an interesting application if you're keen on changing the looks of your machine without having to reinstall the operating system, play with registry entries, or who knows what other complicated procedures. It brings a modern concept to any user who is willing to give it a try.
