Looking outside the window while it shows brings a particular cozy feeling you are probably familiar with. Thanks to DesktopSnowOK, you can relive those sensations by simply looking at your desktop, filled with beautiful white snowflakes slowly falling down.

The application is rather simple, comprising all the controls within a one-window interface. You can activate and deactivate snowing with the click of a button and configure DesktopSnowOK to start with Windows.

Using a simple slider, it is possible to change the number of snowflakes moving around on the desktop at any given time. Their transparency and their falling speed can also be changed in a similar way.

The application’s algorithm can also be changed from “Snowfall” to “Blow” and vice-versa. This changes the way the snowflakes float on your desktop.

There are multiple snowflake shapes, types and textures, all available in a drop-down list. To make it fun, the developers created additional unconventional options aside from the standard snowflake shape or regular white spheres. For example, you can configure DesktopSnowOK to display falling flowers of different colors onto your desktop, as well as hearts, leaves, stars, pumpkins, simple balls or soccer balls, and so on. Given this, one could say that DesktopSnowOK is a rather simplistic name.
