When you're ready to sign, just click on the “Sign” button. It will guide you through connecting a valid ID-card needed for signing or help you learn how to get one.

DigiDoc Client also offers an encryption utility that adds an extra layer of security to your digital signatures. A new window pops up where you can choose how to load your certificate for encryption. You can search via LDAP on a preset service, load from an ID-card, or pick one stored on your hard drive.

If you ever need to remove signatures from files, this app has got that covered too! Once you're finished with your work, save everything as a DDOC container or send it through email if needed.
