With each day that passes, we do all of our paperwork using a computer, at home and the office. Conservative persons still use nowadays physical sheets to write their projects, important duties or personal thoughts, but most of us switch to digital paper. However, each of these methods offers good and bad points.

There are numerous programs all over the Internet that claim to offer various features to help us create our documents in an easier manner, but most of them are too complex, and others are too plain. DjoPad is one of those apps that balances a feature-rich yet simple-to-use interface, which comes packed with all the necessary tools to provide a smooth file creation.

Due to its portable nature, it can be copied to a USB flash drive and run from any computer. The layout is divided into a word processor, format toolbar, and a clipboard manager for text and images on the right side of the window.

To get started all you need to do is start typing thoughts, ideas or an important project for class or work. The app supports multiple files opened at the same time, which facilitates editing of more records.

Plus, you can open an existing document from the computer in DOC, RTF and DJO formats, and copy text from another source directly into the panel using either simple or special paste (rich or plain text).

What's more, you can insert images from the PC or from the clipboard to personalize the content the way you want. The supported file formats are JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF and TIF. Double-clicking on a particular clipboard entry automatically inserts the phrases. The app lets you format the text using different font types, styles (bold, italic), sizes, line spacing, along with word alignment, bullet lists and borders.

You can enable spell checking to view mistakenly written terms, in order to correct them quickly. Another useful feature is item conversion that gives you the option to transform the current record in DOC, PDF, HTML and ODT formats so that you can open them in other programs.

Taking everything into account, DjoPad is a handy and straightforward application that comes in handy for those who want to compose and edit documents fast and easy, as well as export them to various file types. During our testing, the tool ran without issues and didn't consume too many resources.
