You can pick your files using the built-in browse option or just drag and drop them right into the main window. By default, the output will be stored in the same spot as your original file, but don’t fret—you can change where it goes if you want! No matter which algorithm you decide on, remember that you'll need a password. There's even a little box showing the key size for added clarity.

A neat feature that's missing is an integrated password generator. This means you'll have to store your passwords somewhere safe since remembering random strings can be tricky. But hey, there’s a fantastic list of algorithms at your fingertips like 3DES, Blowfish, Cast256, Mars, RC6, Rijndael, Serpent, and Twofish!

The encryption kicks in right away and getting back into your files works just as smoothly. One downside? There’s no context menu integration for quicker encryption options. On the bright side though, DPCRYPT allows you to create self-extracting files (SFX) so you can decrypt anywhere without needing the app installed—just enter your decryption password when prompted!
