DriverUpdate is program dedicated to identifying outdated system drivers using Cloud technology, as well as to downloading and installing the latest versions.

It sports a clean and intuitive interface, and automatizes most part of the main procedure, keeping user intervention at a minimum level.

Setting it up is done in no time and no special attention is necessary. The primary panel has a well-structured layout and you can perform a scan right at startup. Results show the name and age (available and installed date) of each driver: out of date, ignored, up to date, and system.

You can make a selection and update the drivers with the click of a button, provided that you have purchased DriverUpdate. It is possible to backup the installed drivers and restore them at a later time if any Windows errors occur due to the recent versions.

As far as program options are concerned, you can disable the tool from automatically selecting all items after scanning, ask DriverUpdate to run at system startup, view log details, alter the default backups saving directory, as well as schedule scanner tasks, to name the notable ones.

DriverUpdate does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on a very low quantity of CPU and RAM. No error dialogs were shown in our testing, and the program did not hang or crash. However, the tool does not identify all currently installed driver versions correctly.
