Ideally, you should use a different password for each file you are encrypting, particularly if you are creating files that are addressing only a few, selected users. It would have been nice if the tool came with a password manager where you can store all passkeys used for the files and that could generate strong, Unicode codes capable of providing superior protection.

As far as the encryption is concerned, the program comes with the standard AES 256 algorithm, which is an overall satisfactory protocol that can ensure that the data you send via an email, for instance, cannot be accessed unless you enter the password.

In spite of the fact that it is simple to use, the program is not the best option for the highly sensitive data such as financial reports of your company. Even though the password system is one way to deter some curios or badly intended users, Easy File Encryptor is more suitable for home and personal use.
