What is EggKey Gateway?

EggKey Gateway

EggKey Gateway is a cool app that lets your authorized clients use your Internet connection. Think of it like a middleman between your clients and your router or modem.

How Does EggKey Gateway Work?

When clients connect, they get a private IP address (192.168.11.xxx). This means they can't access the Internet directly, which keeps things secure.

Proxy Server Setup

This app sets up all client computers to use a proxy server on port 8080 of your machine. EggKey Gateway listens on this port to manage everything smoothly.

Checking Access Rights

Whenever clients open their browsers, EggKey Gateway checks if they’ve paid to use your Internet connection. If they have, they can surf the web as fast as your bandwidth allows!

Automatic Redirect for New Clients

If a client hasn’t registered yet with your HotSpot, they'll be redirected to www.eggkey.com. Here, they'll see all the plans you offer and can choose how much time they want to buy.

Navigating After Purchase

Once they've bought access time, there’s no more redirection! They'll be able to browse normally until their purchased time runs out.

The main screen of EggKey Gateway shows you how much money you've made so far—it's pretty handy!
