EL-Hyper Protector

Designed as an all-round security application, EL-Hyper Protector is easy to use for disabling Windows utilities, blocking web access and setting allowance time on the computer for children.

Wrapped in a simple interface that doesn't necessarily meet modern standard as far as appearance is concerned, EL-Hyper Protector has options neatly organized in distinct tabs, making it impossible to get lost while tinkering with the UI and controls.

The program is protected by a password, so you can get started by setting a key you can remember for accessing it. Before doing this, it has to be started.

When it comes to system controls, you can disable Task Manager, Control Panel, Command Prompt, PowerShell, Store, Remote Desktop, Add/Remove Programs, User Account Control (UAC), Run as admin, sticky keys, and other Windows functions that are essential for performing some system features but also make the PC prone to stability issues if the user doesn't know what they're doing. In some cases, it's necessary to reboot to apply changes.

The website controls section gives you the possibility to create lists of websites to allow (whitelist) and to block (blacklist). This restriction can be timed by specifying days of the week and hours of the day. Meanwhile, the time controls area is servers for controlling PC and Internet usage time.

EL-Hyper Protector can also block common Internet browsers as well as prevent any application from getting launched, whether or not it's a currently running process. To set advanced controls, you can disable access to local, USB, network or other types of drives. In self control mode, you can schedule allowance time for EL-Hyper Protector. Any attempts to access blocked programs or websites are recorded to a log file that you can later inspect.
