Elmas Note is a handy tool that can help you keep track of all those little reminders on your desktop. You know, like sticky notes? They’re great for remembering events or jotting down quick notes. But if the default Windows sticky notes aren’t doing it for you, Elmas Note might be just what you need.

Installation Requirements

Before diving into all the cool features of this app, make sure your computer has the .NET Framework installed. It’s a must-have for the app to work properly. Don’t worry too much, though—most modern Windows computers already have it.

Easy-to-Use Interface

When you launch Elmas Note, a nice transparent note pops up right on your desktop. All the functions are neatly placed in an upper toolbar and it automatically hides when you're working in another window. One thing to note is that you can’t resize the notes, and if you have a lot of text, it might feel a bit cramped because the font size is quite large. Also, there are no options to change fonts or styles, so you'll need to get used to that.

Create Multiple Notes

You’re not stuck with just one note! With a simple button click, you can create another blank note. Each one usually shows up in a different color—though there are only two colors available—and sadly, no customization options exist here either. Plus, titles for each note aren’t available either; so good luck keeping track of what each note is about!

Managing Your Notes

Once you're done typing away on your notes, they get minimized into the tray area at the bottom of your screen. However, every note gets its own icon in the tray which can clutter things up quickly! The downside? You can’t tell which icon belongs to which note since there’s no tooltip showing what’s inside each one.

The Bottom Line

All things considered, Elmas Note has some good ideas but its simplicity might actually get in the way sometimes. Without titles for your notes and limited customization options, it makes organizing them pretty tough when they’re minimized in your tray area.
