Calculate Coax Cable Insertion Loss

The numbers you select will help figure out the coax cable insertion loss for your antenna system. Next, pick your antenna brand, model, and the band it operates on. The gain of your antenna will help in calculating both the overall gain of your system and the Effective Radiated Power (ERP). Don't worry; the calculations for antenna system gain and coax losses will fill in automatically!

Experiment with Different Settings

If you want to see how different choices affect performance, you can easily change things like coax type, length, antenna model, transmit power, or SWR value. No more wondering if one setup is better than another!

Generate Comparison Reports

Once you've set up two different antenna systems, you can print a comparison report. This way, you get to see all sorts of data side by side—like gains and losses—for each setup.

Save Time with Saved Configurations

If you've configured a couple of systems that you'll use again later, no problem! You can save them for future use. This means less hassle redoing everything if you're working with similar data down the line.

Load Your Saved Systems Easily

To load a saved system, just click on Load System, then choose from your list of saved configurations. This will automatically fill in all your settings in ERP Calculator!

Edit Antenna Data with Ease

If you're into homebrewing antennas or need a specific model that’s not already listed in ERP Calculator, you can add it yourself! Use the Antenna Editor Dialog to enter details like operating bands and gain figures so that everything is ready for your calculations.
