Event 'Minder is a small reminder program that will help you remember birthdays, anniversaries, etc. It's configurable to notify you any number of days in advance of an event, and the frequency of notifications is also configurable.
The event info is stored in a csv (comma separated values) text file, so you can import it easily into Excel or other programs. The notifier runs in the background continuously (at a low priority so it doesn't interfere with other tasks) and alerts you of upcoming events according to the notficiation options you have set up.
