Faltron Free Memory is a lightweight software application developed specifically for helping you improve your system's performance by freeing up some memory.
Some buggy programs may not be able to release the allocated memory back to Windows due to several errors. The result is that you may end up with slow system performance and you may need to reboot the computer in order to run games or utilities faster. Faltron Free Memory comes with a simple solution to this particular problem.
You can store the tool on USB flash drives or other portable devices to have it with you all the time. You can take advantage of its portability status and gain access to the GUI by running the executable file. No installation process is included in the process.
It does not write entries to your Windows registry and leave other configuration files behind. You can get rid of it using a quick deletion task.
Faltron Free Memory boasts a clean and plain GUI that has to offer only a few configuration settings. A help manual is not included in the package but you can get an idea about how the application works in a short amount of time.
The utility offers you the possibility to view real-time statistics about the total physical memory, free physical memory, as well as used physical memory. A built-in slider is embedded in the main window for helping you set the RAM value that you want to free. You may also input the RAM value in megabytes directly in the main window.
A single click on the ‘Free’ button is all it takes to improve system performance. The speed of the process may vary depending on the speed of your processor and amount of free physical memory your system has.
All things considered, Faltron Free Memory provides a simple software solution for helping you enhance the overall performance of your system, and can be configured by rookies and professionals alike.
Warning! You should not use this tool on Windows XP and probably other NT-based system as it will deteriorate performance. It works well only on Windows ME.
