FBENCH Portable

This is the portable edition of FBENCH, a useful piece of kit that enables you to run benchmarks in order to stress the network and measure the UDP/TCP performance between two systems. It sports an advanced set of options for experienced users.

Since there is no setup pack involved, you can save the program files to any part of the hard disk and just click the executable to launch FBENCH. There is also the possibility to save it to a USB flash drive or other removable storage unit, in order to launch it on any PC with minimum effort.

Worth mentioning is that the app does not modify Windows registry settings or create extra files on the disk without permission, thus leaving it clean after removal.

The GUI is user-friendly, based on a single window with a plain and simple structure that shows all options available. It is possible to tinker with IPv4 sending and receiving settings when it comes to the remote IP address and port number, total message, timeout, message size and delay, TTL, and so on. You can clear the results and reset settings to their default values at any time.

The tool does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on low CPU and RAM. It has a good response time to commands and did not hang, crash or pop up error messages throughout our tests. FBENCH comes packed with some handy settings for running network benchmarks and, thanks to its intuitive interface and options, it can be used by anyone with ease.
