Fiber Navigator is a handy tool that helps you see detailed tractography results. With it, you can easily pick out fibers alongside probabilistic tractograms. It also supports surface texturing, MRI displays, and EEG/MEG source localization.
This software is super portable! You can save it anywhere on your hard drive and just click the executable to open Fiber Navigator. Want to use it on another computer? No problem! Just copy it onto a removable storage unit, and you're good to go. Plus, it doesn’t mess with your Windows registry settings.
The interface features both a graphical window and a command-line window that run side by side. You can open various file types like Nifti (.nii), Mesh (.mesh), Fibers VTK/DMRI (.fib), and more!
The app lets you check out different planes: axial, coronal, and sagittal. You can toggle alpha blending mode, change fiber colors to your liking, create new selection boxes or ellipsoids, and even adjust coordinates along the x, y, and z axes. Plus, you can calculate fiber statistics right in the app.
You have even more control with options to rotate axes or lock slices/scenes. Change stroke sizes, activate drawing tools, switch map colors around—basically tailor everything to fit your needs! And if you want a clean slate? Just clear the screen or enable filters!
We ran some tests with Fiber Navigator, and we didn’t hit any error dialogs or crashes. It uses very little CPU and RAM too! The only downside? It might not be super intuitive for beginners. But if you’re looking for powerful features for viewing deterministic tractography results, this app definitely delivers!
