File List Generator

As the name implies, File List Generator is a software application that helps you generate file lists from specified locations on the hard drive.

It comes in handy whenever you want to keep track of your files or manage photo albums, music and movie collections.

The utility includes an easy configuration set that can be adjusted even by less experienced users.

The GUI contains an Explorer-based folder structure that makes directory navigation and selection a familiar experience. Note that it is possible to process only one folder at a time.

You can specify the output format (HTML or TXT), location and file name, filter files by extension, sort items by various criteria (e.g. name, creation date), as well as pick preferred attributes to be displayed, between type, size, date of creation, and last modification date.

File List Generator quickly carries out a file list generation job while remaining light on the system resources. It has a fair response time to commands and displays well-structured documents. No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and the application did not hang or crash.

Thanks to its intuitive layout and general ease of use, working with this tool is as simple as it can get. Unfortunately, File List Generator has not been updated for a long time, and it is not stable on newer operating systems.
