File reorganizer is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help users organize their musical collection in different folders.

It sports a clean interface that offers only a few dedicated parameters to tinker with.

The tool works with a single file format, namely MP3, and lets you pick  the folder which contains the audio files.

On the downside, you are not allowed to select the audio files that you want to process or delete, so you should make sure the selected directory contains the exact MP3 items.

File reorganizer gives you the possibility to organize the files by ID3v1 tag information associated to the MP3 file. The folder which contains the reorganized data is saved to the same location as the original one.

You can make the tool automatically create a log file, which is saved by default to plain text file format. Since it doesn’t comprise any configuration settings, even rookies can master the process with just a few clicks.

During our testing we have noticed that File reorganizer carries out a task very quickly, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process. As it would be expected from such a small utility, it remains light on system resources, so it doesn’t burden the overall performance of the computer, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.

To sum things up, File reorganizer offers a simple yet efficient software solution when it comes to helping you organize your MP3 files into different folders. Thanks to its intuitive interface, it is suitable for all types of users, regardless of their experience level.
