Studying or office work can be a real hassle if you are still going about it the old-fashioned way of handwriting. At one point you end up with your desk full of papers and no idea of which is where.

Thankfully, technology is here to help remove that stress, and Flip Cards is a big help in this sense. With this program, you can write your notes on flashcards that can be organized in stacks.

Basically, you just create stacks of cards on which you can either write or draw. As the name implies, they can be flipped around, so you have 2 sides to use for this.

After you create your first card, you can see the pretty impressive ways you can use and customize them. If you are not a fan of the default pale orange color of the cards, you can change it to one of the other five available.

When writing, you can choose from 5 font sizes, depending on how much text you want to input on one card or how important it is, in order to stand out. But if you really want to make text stand out, then you can use the drawing feature.

You can either underline important words using the ballpoint pen or pencil, or you can highlight them whole using the highlighter. You can change the color of all three tools so they can look exactly as you want them.

In case you are finding it difficult to draw straight lines, Flip Cards also gives you the help of a ruler for this. In case you want to draw at an angle, you can simply rotate it around using the scroll wheel. If you need circular lines, then you can also use a protractor.

Even though it is not perfect, I consider it a useful application. You cannot change the font color of your text and drawing using the ruler or protractor isn't quite smooth, but it can still be of great help.
