Knowing any developments of your local or far away weather forecasts is a must if you'd like to avoid difficult situations. I know in my case, knowing how the weather will unfold for the day or week makes a difference between staying dry and coming home soaking wet.

Although this is not a rule, it's worth using an application such as FluentWeather in order to make sure you're always informed when it comes to any bad weather developments.

Even if with such programs it is not always about the looks, it doesn't hurt to improve the interface when there's a chance. This application actually came as a surprise, especially since its interface is indeed gorgeous, although not complex or crowded in any way. The simplicity of it all remains inspiring. I felt the need to turn this application into my primary forecast tool because it strikes the perfect balance between cool aesthetics and helpful functionality.

Every aspect regarding local weather is displayed accurately and visible with a lot of friendly and helpful visual aids to improve your perspective on the shown data. In terms of the researched information, you get a lot of tiny details you'd otherwise miss with similar programs.

Right, so the first thing you'll want to check out is the city or area you need a forecast for. The search bar at the top of the program will help you with this particular aspect. Further on, you'll see a bunch of boxes, each grouped into small areas, defining their purpose. In terms of information received, anything from wind speeds to pressure, humidity, UV index, and sunrise and sunset points can be obtained with two or three clicks of a button.

The weather insights section remains a great aid, especially since it issues warnings that can prevent or alter situations in which you could face skin, hydration, and even traffic issues. Some settings can be adjusted, most of them relating to the usage of the metric or imperial measurements in the information displayed. A live tile can also be activated if you'd like to get a nonstop feed of weather data.

FluentWeather is by far one of the lightest applications out there that can help you get all the information you require about local weather developments. It's great for any particular purpose that deals with weather-related situations, but in my case, I found it extremely helpful when planning a trip abroad.
