Getting Started

When you first open the app, just pick your operating system. After that, you'll choose if your computer is sending or receiving files. If you're sending something, just select the folder where your files are stored. Keep in mind that if you're receiving files, you can't pick a folder.

No Network Needed

The best part? You can connect without needing routers or any fancy equipment! Flying Carpet allows you to send multiple large files without worrying about losing connection midway through. Plus, remember—your files stay encrypted while they're on their way.

A Few Things to Know

However, there are some things to keep in mind. The app disables the wireless connection when it's running—except for Windows users when they're receiving data. Also, dragging and dropping files isn't available on Windows right now, and if you're using a Mac with Big Sur for receiving files, it won't work either.
