Digital documents are a handy way of collecting information and automatically processing it within an organization or business. However, they can sometimes be difficult to create, manage and distribute.

FormDocs is an easy to use solution that can help users design complex digital forms featuring data validation and formula calculation.

The software solution comprises of two applications, FormDocs Designer, which can help users design their own forms, based on pregenerated templates or from scratch, and FormDocs Filler which is used to fill in the created forms and store them to a File Cabinet or export them to various formats such as TXT and PDF.

FormDocs Designer features a familiar, intuitive interface, similar to that of a text editor. Users can design and customize their form in terms of both layout, content and look. Its main window features a drawing toolbar that contains all the tools needed to design various such documents. Users can do so by dragging and dropping items such as buttons, text fields or check-boxes into their document.

New files can be created from scratch or from one of the many pre-generated templates. These templates include various forms suitable for most businesses and organizations such as invoices, bills, proposals, change orders, time sheets, incident reports, quotations, packing lists etc.

Documents created in applications from the Microsoft Office suite and PDFs can also be used to create forms.

FormDocs Filler is used to fill in forms created in FormDocs Designer and export them to as PDF or DOC files.

Documents can also be printed or faxed using the same application, but more importantly, it can save completed forms to the File Cabinet. The File Cabinet is a database that stores filled-in forms and enables users to manage, sort, list and browse these records.

A File Cabinet may be stored on a local drive, the network, or even a cloud storage service.

Last but not least, the application comes with a built-in converter, which is just right to use after designing your form in your preferred text editor. As such, you can convert the majority of PDF and Word documents types to a fillable form.
