With technology evolving at such a rapid speed in such a short time, everything we do in both personal and professional lives is tied up, more or less, to the Internet. Most of us have Facebook, Twitter or Instagram webpages, as well as personal and work accounts, which most of the time, contain valuable and sensitive data.

We like to store all our private data on various host websites because it's much faster and less time-consuming, but how safe are they from being hacked by unwanted people? The Internet is filled with numerous programs that offer a more simpler and secure way to protect your data and easily store it in your computer.

Free Password Manager is a straightforward and user-friendly application created to offer a simple and practical method to easily add and safely store different websites login accounts and credit cards. The installation process is quick and uneventful. The provided interface is minimalistic and easy-to-use consisting of a small ribbon menu with the file and home sections, the latter, coming with two distinct tabs (passwords, credit cards) and a search bar.

When the program is run, a window is displayed with the database that you wish to open and the corresponding password. If you don't have an existing file (PDB), you can easily create one by clicking on the blue text. Then you can name your database and give it a custom password. Unfortunately, the app doesn't come with a key generator or the option to select the desired encryption method.

The first tab lets you save multiple online accounts or games and software login information. You just have to input the title, username, password, link and optional notes. Regarding the credit cards, you need to fill in a few more fields, like card name and number, pin, expiration date, security code, along with the beneficiary, bank name and website. There is no option, to backup and restore the database, so if you encounter issues with your computer, the only way is to save it to an external drive.

Taking everything into consideration, Free Password Manager is an accessible and intuitive utility designed to provide a secure and simple way to add, organize and handle multiple personal and business-related information, like bank accounts and login credentials.
