Free Photo Slideshow Screensaver

Free Photo Slideshow Screensaver is a straightforward software solution that allows you to set up a screensaver with custom pictures. It can be seamlessly installed and configured, thanks to its intuitive layout.

Once installed, the app is automatically applied as your default screensaver. From the 'Settings' area, you can select which photographs you want to be included in the screensaver, by selecting their folder from the tree view.

You can choose the visual effect between collage and wipe, specify the transition time (between 0.6 and 6.3 seconds), as well as switch to the Italian language. Plus, you may preview results before applying any changes.

The lightweight tool barely leaves a mark on the computer's resources, since it requires a very low amount of CPU and system memory. Free Photo Slideshow Screensaver did not cause the operating system to freeze, crash or pop up errors in our tests; we have not come across any issues.

On the downside, you cannot select images from separate locations by using the file browser, or make image adjustments (e.g. brightness, gamma, crop, rotate). The bottom line is that Free Photo Slideshow Screensaver provides users with a simplistic way to project custom pictures onto the screensaver. Unfortunately, the app has never received updates.
