When you first open GamepadChecker, you'll see your controller displayed on the screen. There are X marks next to each button and axis that hasn't been tested yet. To get started, just press the buttons and move the thumbsticks around. It’s that simple!

Check Your Buttons

As you test each button and axis, those X marks will disappear from the screen. This shows you that everything is working as it should be! Once there are no more X marks left, you can feel pretty confident that your gamepad is in good shape.

What It Can't Do

No Vibration Testing

You might also notice that sometimes the vibration motors in controllers can stop working. Unfortunately, this app doesn't let you test those out either.
