GeoVisu Suite

With the help of GeoVisu you can view geo-referenced image data and recordings obtained from some GPS devices. This is an approachable software program that comes loaded with several practical options and lets you export graphics and GPS data.

After a brief and uneventful setup operation, you are welcomed by a classical-looking interface made from a large window that lets you open image, graphic, GPS data and compressed files.

It's possible to zoom in and out, show or hide the navigation track, apply a negative filter to the image or make it monochrome, as well as tinker with real-time navigation settings when it comes to the port (e.g. serial port, USB Garmin, UDP custom port), protocol and logging.

What's more, GeoVisu lets you choose the display system (e.g. geographic coordinates, cartographic projection), view the cursor's coordinates, pick the cursor coordinates system and measurement unit, add a grid, manage graphic layers, or set manual localization properties.

You can find the name of a place in the map, GPS or graphic data, download GPS waypoints, merge tracklogs, as well as customize the UI colors, fonts and map features display (e.g. display mode, object size, line display mode).

No error dialogs popped up in our tests, and the app didn't hang or crash. Its impact on computer performance was minimal, thanks to the fact that it needed low CPU and RAM to work properly.
