GPS TrackMaker is an application that you can use to create and transfer waypoints, tracklogs and routes using your GPS and computer.
This means that you can take your computer with you on trips and with real-time tracking, create vectorial maps that contain your routes in detail. The application enables you to both download and upload data to your GPS device in a simple manner. Moreover, you can even calculate lengths and speed variations when traveling.
GPS TrackMaker displays a user-friendly interface and enables you to easily navigate through the maps and add new waypoints. To make this as simple as possible, the application offers you a pencil tool which you can use to draw the course and add waypoints. It also offers you a large number of waypoint icons which you can use to customize the course.
A great advantage to the GPS TrackMaker maps is the fact that they are in vectorial form. Being so, it means that they take up little storage space and load much faster. The maps also load in segments, which means that what you see on screen is the only thing that is actually loaded. This way you don’t get any lag when browsing the maps.
GPS TrackMaker also supports Google Earth integration and allows you to import and use KML files. This enables you to maintain the use of tracklogs, routes and waypoints and even switch to 3D views in Google Earth.
GPS TrackMaker can be used with a large variety of GPS devices. It offers you interfacing for Garmin, Magellan, Lowrance/Eagle, MLR and Brunton/Silva devices. You’re even free to choose whether you want to upload or download just waypoints, tracklogs or routes.
With the above to consider, and much more to discover about GPS TrackMaker, it’s safe to say that when it comes to adding and customizing GPS data.
