GraceGTK is a handy tool for creating and editing detailed graphs from numerical data. This software is a cool version based on grace-5.1.22, using the GTK API to help you out with your graphing needs. Plus, it can export projects into ASCII data format!
One of the best things about GraceGTK is that it's portable! You can save it anywhere on your hard drive and just click on the executable file to launch it. Want to use it on another PC? No problem! Just pop it onto a USB flash drive, and you’re good to go—no messy installers or anything like that. And guess what? It won't clutter up your Windows registry either.
The interface has a command-line dialog and a graphical window that work together. While it might not have the most stunning visuals, it's super user-friendly. You can start fresh with a new project or easily import data from ASCII or Xfig files.
The drawing box comes packed with tools for zooming in and out, autoscaling, expanding or shrinking your viewport, and scrolling in any direction you need. GraceGTK even helps you automatically set tick spacing and scale based on what you've got!
You can do all sorts of things with your data sets in GraceGTK: sort them, reverse them, split or join them together—you name it! You can also evaluate expressions, view histograms, manage properties, apply digital filters, digitize curves, and customize how everything looks in your plot.
This tool is lightweight too! It doesn’t put a strain on your PC’s performance because it uses very little CPU and RAM. In our tests, it didn’t hang up or crash at all.
If you're looking for an easy way to create graphs based on numerical expressions without any fuss, give GraceGTK a try!
