If you're into BitTorrent, you probably already know that some trackers won’t let you download without maintaining this balance.

Why Use GreedyTorrent?

This is where GreedyTorrent comes in! It tricks the tracker and increases your upload count based on settings that you define. It’s pretty straightforward to use!

If you click on the “Preferences” tab, you'll see a new screen pop up. Here, you can enter the listening port you'd like to use. The best part? GreedyTorrent works with several popular BitTorrent clients like uTorrent and Azureus, though they do require some extra setup for sending those fake upload reports.

Setting Up Your Proxy

You’ll first need to enter your BitTorrent client’s proxy settings and enable the HTTP option. For this, set the host as localhost and make sure your listen port matches what you've entered in GreedyTorrent.

No Impact on Internet Connection

The cool thing is that GreedyTorrent doesn’t mess with your internet connection at all! If everything's set up right, it should work like a charm. But if any issues pop up, don’t hesitate to check out the help section—there’s a dedicated manual waiting for you.
