Gugle is a super handy little widget that runs on the Yahoo! Widget Engine. It lets you do a Google search straight from your desktop! It's really easy to install and get going.
The interface is pretty straightforward. You’ll see the Google logo along with a box where you can type in your search terms. Just hit Enter, and bam! Gugle brings up the results in your favorite web browser.
If you want to switch things up, there's a Widget Preferences panel where you can change the language of the interface. Now, while Gugle doesn't come with a ton of fancy settings or options, it still gets the job done!
Thanks to Yahoo! Widget Engine's standard features, you can make some cool adjustments. For example, you can choose whether Gugle stays on top of other windows or hides behind them. Plus, there's an option to ignore mouse events and prevent accidental dragging. If you're into visuals, you can also tweak its opacity anywhere from 20% to 100%!
The best part? Gugle is super light on CPU and memory usage. This means it won’t slow down your computer at all or get in the way while you're working on other stuff. During our tests, we didn't see any error messages, and everything ran smoothly without any crashes or hang-ups.
If you're looking for an easy way to perform Google searches quickly and efficiently, Gugle is definitely worth checking out! You can learn more about it or download it here.
