This cool app lives in your system tray, so it won't bug you by taking up space on your screen. You won't even see an icon on the taskbar! Once you install it, Handpad will pop up automatically every time Windows starts—though if that's not your thing, you can turn that off in the "Options" menu. When it's open, it stays on top of other windows, making sure your latest notes are always visible.

Here are some key features of Handpad:

• A neat and easy-to-use text editor with clipboard support and undo/redo features.


• Find and replace text functions available under the Search menu.


• You can highlight words or phrases using the "Mark" or "Unmark" options from the toolbar or menu.


• The main menu, toolbar, and status bar are customizable with a built-in editor. Want more space? You can hide them!


• Handpad can upgrade itself automatically when a new version is out. Just click "Check Updates" under the "?" menu to see if there's something new.
