HandyBits VirusScan Integrator is a simple utility designed to allow you this sort of action with minimum effort. Make no mistake, though, the application does not include the scan engines but instead provides the possibility to add them yourself.

Installing the product on the system should not be a tough task as the procedure proved to be a swift and uneventful one during out testing.

A simple interface shows a short list of menus running down in the left hand side. Apart from providing the possibility to initiate a verification of particular set of files these allow adding the scan engines that should be used in the process.

The task is guided and involves browsing for the executable file, adding command-line switches for the launch of the scanner as well as customize the way VirusScan Integrator starts the program (location, state).

If multiple scanners have been added and properly configured the actual scanning of the data is a breeze. Files can be dragged and dropped into the interface in bulk and there is also the possibility to define the file types that should be verified.
