What Does HideMe! Do?

This handy app lets you hide those pesky icons while keeping them on your desktop. It works by creating a small window that sits right on top of the icons. What's cool is that it grabs the picture behind those icons and paints itself with that image. So, it looks like the icons have vanished!

Easy to Use

The hidden window stays behind all other windows on your screen, so it won't get in the way. You can easily toggle the visibility of your icons using a neat little tray icon that looks like an eyeball. Just left-click on it to show or hide the icons. And if you want to make some adjustments, a right-click brings up a menu where you can change how much space gets covered.

Always in Place

One of the best features? The program is locked in place, so it won't move around on you. It always appears in the upper left corner of your screen—perfect for hiding any icons you want out of sight!
