Hop Raider is a simple jumping game that has a challenging premise: you get to explore the insights of a volcano, but only as long as you are fast and skillful enough to avoid the incoming wall of scorching hot lava.

Hop Raider comes with various characters designs, and you get to unlock new ones by collecting more points. Within the game, you can collect coins that are scattered on each level, but your score is determined by how far you manage to get.

To control the characters, you must use your mouse or the space bar. Both actions will make your avatar jump, but make sure to hold down the buttons longer if you want to jump higher.

Worth mentioning is that the game character constantly moves from side to side, and you must coordinate your jumps with its current direction since you cannot change it.

Besides the wall of hot lava, some blocks that you have to climb might also have spikes, so if you are not careful enough to avoid them, you will have to start the game all over again.

However, the game allows you to buy a protection shield with coins or tokens and continue playing. Note that Hop Raider will keep track of your best score and lets you know if you get past it.

You can see the number of collected coins in the top area of the Hop Raider main window. The game displays your current level, and you get to pause the game or toggle the soundtrack.

Hop Raider is a rather entertaining jumping game that features simple controls. Nevertheless, the gameplay is still challenging because you must learn how to coordinate your jumps and avoid obstacles while the lava wall is approaching fast.
