Hostr is a super handy file-sharing app that lets you quickly upload your files to the cloud. You can store all kinds of stuff and grab the URL without even needing to open a web browser. Plus, if you want to take custom-sized screenshots, it lets you do that too—and you can upload them right away!

Easy File Uploads

To get started with Hostr, you'll need to create your own account. This is where you'll keep all your files for sharing. The app makes it really quick to upload your pictures, music, documents, or any other type of file safely. Just open up the desktop application and drag-and-drop your files into it!

Instant Uploads and Progress Tracking

Your uploads start right away, and there's a progress bar that shows how much time is left. Once the upload is done, you can easily grab the URL for that file by copying it to your clipboard. When you first open Hostr, you'll see some of your latest uploads on the main screen. If you want to change how many files show up there, just head over to the Settings tab!

Share Your Screen Effortlessly

If you're looking to share what’s happening on your desktop with friends online, Hostr has got you covered! You can use its screen capture feature to take a custom-sized screenshot and upload it instantly. Just pick the command from the top menu and adjust the size by dragging from one corner.

Capture Specific Windows

You can also take screenshots of specific active windows—perfect if you want to show off something in an app! These files go straight into the cloud as soon as they’re made.

Sharing Made Simple

With Hostr, uploading files to your cloud account is a breeze! Once uploaded, you'll get a URL right away so you can share it through email or messaging apps. You can send all sorts of files or freshly taken screenshots saved as .PNG, .JPG, .BMP or .GIF formats.
