If you're looking to improve shape and performance, Hullform lets you edit lines, smooth out angles, and adjust lateral offsets. One thing to note is that it doesn't allow mouse adjustments for line positions. This might be tricky at first for some users, but it helps in getting higher accuracy!

Analyzing Your Design

This application gives you loads of stats about your boat hull. You can see details like immersed areas, hull balance, and displaced volume. Plus, it can generate plots for drag speed and hull area which are super useful.

Designing Catamarans?

If you're into catamaran designs, Hullform has got your back! It allows you to consider where fuel tanks go and their hydrographic properties. This feature helps in estimating the liquid surface height based on tank levels.

Launching Extra Programs

You can also use Hullform to launch other programs directly from the main menu! Just add any application in the Run menu along with command line arguments. That means you can easily access other calculators or sketch tools needed for your hull design.

Exporting Your Designs

Once you're happy with your hull properties, exporting is simple too! The app lets you export models to DXF files or save waterlines and section details as text files.
