IE History Viewer

IE History Viewer is a tiny software utility that enables you to analyze websites visited in Internet Explorer, as the name suggests. It contains intuitive options that can be quickly figured out, even by users with no previous experience in such apps.

Provided that you have .NET Framework installed on your PC, you don't need to set up anything else. This means that you can drop the app files anywhere on the disk and just click the executable to launch IE History Viewer.

Another possibility is to save it to a pen drive to directly launch it on any PC to inspect IE history. More importantly, it doesn't modify the Windows registry configuration, unlike most installers.

Packed in a user-friendly interface, the tool shows IE history at startup automatically, so you can check out the URL of each website, as well as preview it in a small, built-in frame.

It's possible to copy addresses to the Clipboard, export all of them to file with the .xml format), or hide the preview pane. There are other options listed as well, such as printing all information and configuring printing settings, but they haven't been implemented yet, according to the developer.

The tool didn't hang, crash or display error messages in our tests. As we expected, it had minimal impact on PC performance, running on low CPU and RAM.

On the other hand, it failed to load the list with visited IE websites. We must also take into account that fact that it hasn't been updated for a long time, and it likely has compatibility issues with newer Internet Explorer versions.
