Internet Explorer has been a part of Windows for a long time. It’s the default browser on older versions of Windows, but if you're using Windows 10 or later, you'll be using Microsoft Edge instead. Still, if you're sticking with Internet Explorer, IE-Split is here to help.
Once you set up IE-Split, it’s ready to go right away—no need to restart your computer! The next time you open Internet Explorer, you'll notice a nifty vertical line down the middle of your screen. This line splits the browser window so that you can view two different web pages in the same tab.
This feature is super handy! Instead of juggling multiple windows or tabs, you can keep an eye on two pieces of content side by side. You can even adjust how much space each page takes up by dragging that vertical line around. And if you want to close one page? Just shut down that section without affecting the other one.
However, navigating with IE-Split can be a bit tricky. The second page doesn’t have its own address bar, which means switching between sites isn’t as straightforward as you'd think. To open another site on the second half of your screen, you'll need to drag the URL there manually. This could be frustrating at times!
All things considered, IE-Split offers a neat way to enhance your browsing experience with Internet Explorer. Even though Internet Explorer might not be around forever and getting around in this setup has its quirks, it's definitely worth giving it a shot!
