Image Crawler

Image Crawler is a simple software application designed to help you save multiple images from websites.

The app is designed to be simple to use, with clear stated functions and large buttons for all the important commands. It has a built-in search function based on URL with predefined websites that you can use for testing, apart from entering custom URLs.

The URL field has a drop-down list with the default websites. The search can include external pages to extract images. Moreover, you can define a saving folder for your images or simply drag the downloaded items from the main window and drop them to an Explorer window.

You can operate all the main functions just like media player controls, since they resemble play, pause and stop buttons. The utility displays a progress bar for each image.

The server location for the file is shown in the status bar. Up to 20 threads can be used in the process, while the number of displayed images ranges from 1 to 200, depending on your preference. Filters for a minimum width, height, area and file size can be applied as well, in order to restrict the scan job and speed up the task, overall.

Additional filters can be set to use only directly linked images with dummy response, images with the same name or free floating URLs, thus displaying only the data you need.

Overall, Image Crawler is a handy program for users who want to download images from their favorite websites. It did not crash, hang or hog system resources during our tests.
