ipPulse is a handy app made for network admins to keep tabs on the connectivity and status of devices connected with an IPv4 address. It's super useful!
The setup process is quick and straightforward, so you won’t need to stress over any complicated steps. Once you launch it, you'll see a clean and user-friendly interface that’s designed like a table. This makes it easy to add all the IP addresses you want to monitor.
Depending on what details you want to keep an eye on, ipPulse lets you enable extra query options. This means you can see important info that helps spot potential issues early on. Some key details displayed include HostName, PASS Count, Primary and Secondary TCP port, Ping Max Time, or Status Code—just to name a few!
You can dive into examining the IPv4 addresses using primary and secondary tests set up from the Settings menu. The Primary test will ping your target to get replies or check if it's connected to the right TCP port.
The Secondary Test offers four modes: disabled, TCP port Connected/Disconnected, SNMP interface status using interfaces, and web server page tests. With these options, figuring out if a connection is working or if the network interface is down becomes easy! Plus, it checks web status codes for both hidden or visible strings that give even more insights.
If you're keeping track of a small or large LAN and want real-time updates about device connectivity so you can fix problems quickly, then ipPulse could be your go-to tool!
