ISTS PDF Encryption & Decryption Manager is an intuitive application designed to enable you to encrypt and decrypt PDFs quick and easy. It also handles the batch option.
The setup is fast and smooth, while the app requires .NET Framework to be installed on the computer to properly run. It's wrapped in a self-explanatory and wizard-like interface, similar with a setup installer. All the functions and navigation buttons are in plain sight, making it accessible even to novices.
The first step consists of you choosing the mode, encrypt or decrypt. To encrypt documents, all you have to do is browse their location and pick the ones you want. You can also load entire folders for an efficient process. It's possible to move the items up and down in the list, to order them.
In the list, you can view the file's name, complete path, the number of pages, and total size. Next, you need to input a custom password, the encryption level (e.g. 40, 128bits ) and the allowed permissions. Among them, you can check annotations, extra content, assemble document, print, and extract content.
If the PDF contains multiple pages, you have the option to choose if the output should be a single file or individual, for each sheet. Once everything set, you can press the Encrypt button. The decrypt operation is much simpler, as you just have to load the protected item, input the password, pick another save location, and hit Decrypt.
To sum it up, ISTS PDF Encryption & Decryption Manager is a practical program created to offer a simple and swift method to protect files from being accessed using encryption methods, and decrypt secured ones, with only a few mouse clicks.
