Add Your Courses and Teachers

To get started, you'll want to add all your courses, teachers, and classrooms into the database. Just head over to the Parameters menu and select the Add option each time. It's simple but does require a bit of work upfront.

A Bit of a Learning Curve

I should mention that this system isn't the most user-friendly. If you're using JdC regularly, be prepared to spend some time entering data since it can feel a bit clunky.

Your Weekly Breakdown

The app divides each week into six days with ten periods for each day. You can even switch between up to five different week types using the colorful buttons in the toolbar—pretty neat!

Exporting Your Schedule

Once you've organized everything, exporting your daily schedule is easy! You can save it as a text file or view it in your web browser. If you'd like a printed version, there's an option for that too with a weekly grid layout.

A Tool for Educators Too!

This program isn't just for students; teachers can benefit from it as well! There's a Teacher Mode that changes some settings around to focus more on classes instead of individual teacher parameters. However, switching back might not be possible once you've made that change.

User Interface Notes

The overall layout of JdC's interface feels outdated and could use some improvements for sure. It's not super intuitive, which might make things tricky at first glance.
